Act of kindness
The true greatness lies in being kind, the truest wisdom lies in a happy mind.
Every act of kindness that you do today return to you in a rewarding way. You must invest in great deeds. Shower as many favours as you can on whomsoever you meet and your life's pocket will always overflow with blessed rewards.
When you are good and kind to others you feel an ecstasy. If you going to help ver expect something in return while passing a favor to someone. Helping and serving others will make our life meaningful and complete. While doing the act of kindness you will feel yourself full of gusto and enthusiasm.
Here is a story about kindness. Let's read ---------
A Glass Of Milk
One day a poor boy was selling clothes from door to door to pay for his education. He realised that he had only ten cents left in his pocket. He was hungry and so decided to ask some food at the next house that came to.
A beautiful young woman opened the door. But instead of a meal, the boy asked for a glass of water. The woman
could read from the boy's face that he was hungry, so she brought him a glass of milk. He drank it very slowly and asked,
"How much do I owe you? "
"You do not owe me anything at all", she replied, "My mother taught me never to accept anything for doing someone an act of kindness".
The boy replied, "Then I thank you from the bottom of my heart".
When he left the house feeling stronger physically, he sensed a return of his faith in Lord whom he had nearly abandoned.
Years later this same young woman fell ill. The local doctors were puzzled, so they sent her to the big city where they knew that the specialists would be able to diagnose this rare sickness. Doctor Howard Kelly was called in as a consultant. When he heard the name of the city where she lived, a memory burned brightly in his eyes.
He got up and went to her room. As he entered the room he immediately recognised her. He returned to the consultation room, determined to do his best to save her life.
From that day on, he paid special attention to this case. After a long battle, the war was finally won. Doctor Kelly left instructions that the bill should be sent to him for authorisation. He looked it over, wrote something in the margin and sent it to her room.
The lady thought that when she would open the envelope., she would find an invoice that would take the rest of her life to pay in full. But when she finally opened it, she reads these words---
"Paid in full with a glass of milk"-Doctor Howard Kelly
Tears of joy filled her eyes and her heart She was amazed to see how a little favour done yesterday was transformed into a great blessing and granted her a new life today.
Inspiring from this story. Friends, let us make a promise to ourselves today that we will go on leading our hand in kindness wherever and whenever it is required without seeking anything in return. Invite everybody to participate in your blessings.
The mirror always shows you a true reflection. Hence, to project a beautiful and bright image in the mirror of life, you must make your life beautiful and it is possible only through kindness.
